In the years 1966-69, Hundley caught nearly every Cub game. He set a ML record with 160 games behind the plate (147 complete) in 1968, and became the first player in history to catch 150 or more games for three consecutive years (1967-69.) When he won the Gold Glove in 1967, he committed just four errors for a NL record. In the neck of the jersey is a gray felt patch reading "9-68-1-42" which has been done in blue chain stitch. The numbers denote the player number, year, set number and size, respectively. On the left front tail is the "Wilson" label with the size, "42" and below is the "Wilson" label reading "1968 Set 1." Across the front of the jersey is the name "Chicago" and on the back is the player number "9." Both the name and number are made of blue on red tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the Cubs patch and on the right sleeve is the "Illinois Sesquicentennial" patch. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
