Rick Reuschel's two-part career began as a stellar starter for the Cubs, where he became one of the club's all-time leaders in wins, games and strikeouts. He missed the 1982 season with a torn rotator cuff. 1985 earned him Comeback Player of the Year honors, when he played with the Pittsburgh Pirates. In the neck of the jersey is the "Wilson" label with the size, "48." Below this is a white label reading "48 77 1 48" in blue chain stitch. The numbers denote the size, year, set number and player number, respectively. On the left front tail is the year tag "77" in blue chain stitch. On the left breast is the Cubs red/white/blue logo patch and on the back is the player number "48" in blue tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the Cubs patch and below this is a black armband commemorating the death of Phillip Wrigley. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
