In the neck of the home jersey is a white label reading "40-50-99-1" denoting the player number, size, year and set number. On the left front tail of the 1999 jersey is the "Russell Athletic" label and size "50." On the left breast is the Cubs logo patch. On the back of the shirt is the name "Rodriguez" and below is "40." Both the name and number are made of blue on red tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the Cubs patch . On the left front tail of the 1998 jersey is the "Majestic" label and below is the size tag, "XL." On the left breast is the Cubs logo patch. On the back of the shirt is the name "Rodriguez" and below is "40." Both the name and number are made of red on white tackle twill. On the left sleeve is a patch reading "Since 1876 National League of Professional Baseball Clubs." Both jerseys show game-use and appear to have no alterations of any kind.
