After an MVP season in the American Association in 1938, Wyatt was purchased by the Dodgers and became a four-time All-Star. In 1941, he won 22 games, tops in the majors, to lead the Dodgers to the pennant, and threw two complete games in the 1941 World Series. In the neck of the jersey is the "Spalding" label and adjacent is the size tag, "46." Below this is a white felt patch with the name "J Wyatt" in red chain stitch. Across the front of the jersey is the name "Dodgers" in script and on the back is the player number "17." Both the name and number are made of blue felt. On the lower left front is an autograph rating an 8 that reads "Good luck Whit Wyatt." On the left sleeve is the "Health" patch. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
