Who could resist the classic, unique San Diego Padres uniforms of the 1970s and 1980s? This road knit jersey was worn by manager Jerry Coleman during the 1980 season. In the neck of the jersey is the "Wilson" manufacturer's tag with the size "42." On the left front tail is a brown patch with "2 80" sewn on in white chain stitch, representing number and year, respectively. The team name "Padres" and player number "2" are sewn onto the front and back of the jersey, respectively, in yellow on orange tackle twill. On the back of the jersey is a brown nameplate with the player name "Coleman" sewn on in yellow tackle twill. The jersey shows wear and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
