Phillie first baseman Tommy Hutton's main claim to fame was that he "owned" Tom Seaver, compiling a .700 average against the Met Hall of Famer. Hutton wore this white and maroon pinstriped Phillies home uniform during the 1973 season when he hit .363. The uniform has a "Wilson" label on the lower left front tail with the size "40," and another label beneath that reading "73-40 Set 1." The name "Hutton" is stitched in script style letters on a label inside the neck. The team's "P" logo patch is sewn onto the left breast, the player number "14" onto the right breast, and a larger "14" across the back, all the letters and numbers being in maroon embroidered stitch on a white background. The jersey shows game-use and has no alterations of any kind.
