Son of Hall of Famer George Sisler, Dick was dealt to the Phillies in 1948. He was moved from first base to left field in 1950 and hit a dramatic tenth-inning, game-winning home run at Ebbets Field on the final day of the season to clinch the pennant. He was made a Reds coach in 1961. In the neck of the jersey is the "MacGregor" label and size "46." On the left breast is the Reds' red/white/blue logo and on the back is the name "Sisler." The player number "2" appears on both the right breast and on the back of the shirt. The name and numbers are in red on blue tackle twill. The name and number have been restored. The jersey shows wear and with the exception of the restored name and number, appears to have no other alterations of any kind.
