Kansas City had not been home to a major league baseball team since the Federal League in 1915 when the Philadelphia A's moved there in 1955. One can argue the drought continued during the 13 seasons the A's played in KC, when the team finished as high as 6th place only once. This blue, red and white Wilson size-46 vintage Kansas City A's nylon jacket has the age-old "A" logo that dates back to Lefty Grove's days, not to mention those of Woodie Held, Jack Urban and Jim Pisoni in KC.
