A slick-fielding shortstop, steady hitter and pennant-winning manager, Boudreau's HOF career peaked in his 1948 season when he was named MVP. In the neck of the jersey is a gray felt patch with the name "Boudreaux" mispelled in black chain stitch. Below this is an autograph. On the left front tail is the "Rawlings Hall of Fame Flannel" label and adjacent is the size tag, "44." On the inside left front tail is the wash tag and adjacent is the flag tag reading "Set 1 1957." Across the front of the jersey is the name "Athletics" in script letters and on the back is the player number "5." There has been a number change and it was restored. The jersey shows wear and with the exception of the aforementioned changes, appears to have no other alterations of any kind.
