Reggie could talk and Reggie could hit; he was a sportswriter's dream. In 21 seasons he played on eleven divisional winners, six pennant winners and five World Series. The peak of "Mr. October's" career came in a boisterous five-year stint with the Yankees. His total of 563 HR was sixth all-time when he retired. This jersey was worn during the first month of the season. On the left front tail is the "McAuliffe" label and below is the year tag "70 and size tag "44." On the left breast is "A's." The player number "9" appears on both the right breast and on the back of the jersey. The letters and numbers are made of green on gold tackle twill. There is gold/green/gold trim around the armholes and the neck. The jersey shows light game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
