Arguably the best relief pitcher in baseball history, the lanky, handlebar-mustached Fingers moved from starting to the pen in 1972 with the A's and was MVP of the 1974 World Series. He won the Cy Young Award and MVP with 28 saves and a 1.04 ERA. Fingers wore this Brewers home knit jersey during his final season. On the left tail is the "Sand-Knit" exclusive label and size "44". On the inside back tail is a patch with "85-44z" in computer print denoting the year and size. Next to this is a patch with "Fingers" written in black magic marker and across the front is "Brewers." The number "34" is on both the left breast and the back, with all letters and numbers made of blue on gold tackle twill. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
