Jim Thome's booming bat has been money in the bank for the Cleveland Indians since the mid-1990s, bashing 30 or more homers for 5 straight years coming into this season, and 40 in 1997. The big first baseman provided a taste of the future in 1993 by hitting 7 dingers in 47 games. This scuffed-up blue and red Indians batting helmet was worn by Thome that season.. The size 7-1/4 helmet has Thome's number "25" affixed on the back.
