Years from now, Ken Griffey Jr. will stand out as one of the premier players of his era, with his hitting and fielding prowess unmatched by even the best of the rest. Griffey Jr. wore this jersey during the strike-shortened 1994 season. On the left front tail is the "Russell Athletic" label with the size "46". Under this is the year tag "1994." Across the front of the jersey is the name "Mariners" in blue tackle twill on a teal/silver backing and on the back is a white nameplate with the name "Griffey" in blue on teal tackle twill. Below this is the player number "24" which is also made of blue on teal tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the "Seattle Mariners" patch and on the right sleeve is the "125th Anniversary" patch. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
