In what has turned into a superb career for young Alex Rodriguez, things got off to a very promising start for the superstar shortstop. In his rookie season of 1996 Rodriguez hit .358 with 36 home runs and 123 runs batted in. These are game worn batting gloves from Rodriguez from that great rookie season. The outer part of each glove has his 8 rated signature and the adjustable velcro part has "A-Rod" stitched across it. The palm area has his #3 sewn on both gloves. Included are his "Rawlings" wristbands with his #3 under the logo. The gloves are manufactured by "Nike."
