At the University of Houston, Paciorek was a defensive back, drafted in the ninth round by the Miami Dolphins and an NCAA All-American outfielder who set school hitting records. In 1971 he was named Minor League Player of the Year and in 1981 he was an All-Star. On the left front tail of the road jersey is the "Wilson" exclusive label and adjacent is the size tag, "44." Below this is a gray label reading "86 2" in blue chain stitch. The numbers denote the year and set number. Across the front of the jersey is the name "Texas" and on the back is a gray nameplate with the name "Paciorek." Below this is the player number "44." The letters and numbers are made of blue on white tackle twill. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. On the left front tail of the home jersey is the "Rawlings" label and adjacent is the flag tag reading "Set 1 1986." Below this is the "2 Inch Extra Length" label and adjacent is the size tag, "44" done in red embroidered stitch. Across the front of the jersey is the name "Rangers" in blue on red tackle twill and on the back is a white nameplate with the name "Paciorek" in blue tackle twill. Below this is the player number "44" in blue on red tackle twill.
