"Old Folks" Kinder did not pitch in the majors until he was over thirty, but he went on to a twelve year career with some spectacular moments. On the left front tail is the "McAuliffe" label. Below this is "1954 44 3in. 16" in blue chain stitch. The numbers denote the year, size, three extra inches and the player number, respectively. On the inside left front tail is the wash tag. Across the front of the jersey is "Boston" and on the back is the player number, "16." Both the name and number are made of blue felt. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
