In 1975, Fred Lynn became the first player in the history of baseball to win both Rookie of the Year and MVP. Lynn was also awarded the 1975 American League Gold Glove and this was the first of four he would earn. This jersey was worn by Lynn during that 1975 season. In the neck of the jersey is the "McAuliffe" label and below is the size label, "44." On the outside front tail is the year tag reading "1975", adjacent to this is the wash tag. Across the front of the jersey is the name "Boston" and on the back is the player number, "19." The letters and numbers are made of red on blue tackle twill. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
