Ventura was the college player of the 1980s. He has won six Gold Gloves at third base and is one of the current leaders of grand-slam home runs. On the left front tail is the "Russell Athletic" label with the size, "46." Below this is a label reading "23 Ventura 46+0-94." The numbers denote the player number, size and year. On the left breast is the White Sox logo and on the back is the name "Ventura." The player number "23" appears on both the right breast and on the back of the shirt. The logo, letters and numbers are made of white on black/silver tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the White Sox patch and on the right sleeve is baseball's "125th Anniversary" patch. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
