In 1960, a year before he cracked his then-record 61 homers, Roger Maris came to the Yankees in a trade from the Kansas City A's. He hit 39 homers with 112 RBIs and a .284 average and won the first of two straight AL MVP awards. This subtly toned Official League ball features the signatures of Maris and the redoubtable Casey Stengel, who that season was in his 11th and final year as Yankee skipper. Both signatures are in green ink on a side panel, rating 7s.
