On a blistering hot day in St. Louis, the 38th All-Star Game was played in Busch Stadium on July 12, 1966. Starters Sandy Koufax and Denny McLain kicked off a pitcher's duel that endured through nine innings with the game tied 1-1. In the bottom of the 10th, Maury Wills singled home Tim McCarver for the gamer to give the NL its fourth straight All-Star win. This excellent condition OAL Cronin ball is signed by 29 members of the AL team, including the game's MVP Brooks Robinson, manager Sam Mele, Frank Robinson, Rocky Colavito, Harmon Killebrew, Catfish Hunter, Al Kaline, Tony Oliva, Carl Yastrzemski, Jim Kaat, Jim Fregosi, etc. Signatures are in blue ink and rate 7s and 8s.
