After breaking the hearts of their fans for decades, the Brooklyn Dodgers were victorious in the 1955 World Series, their sixth World Series against the rival New York Yankees in a span of only 15 years. This near mint to mint ONL Giles ball, which is nearly white with like-new stamping, has been signed in blue and black ink by 22 members of that World Champion team including manager Walt Alston (SS), Roy Campanella, Jackie Robinson, Gil Hodges, Pee Wee Reese, Duke Snider, Carl Furillo, and the all-important Frank Kellert, whose only year with the Dodgers was 1955. The signatures are uniformly of incredible quality, ranging in quality from 8 to near 10 with keys that are on the higher end. Spooner and Snider are clubhouse This particular ball was part of Walt Alston's personal collection, and its magnificent condition demonstrates that Alston truly cherished it.
