These three strands of former President Roanld Reagan's famously black hair have taken a journey worthy of a dignitary. The hair was taken from Reagan's head on March 23, 1982 by an impeccable source, his White House barber Milt Pitts, who then gave it to William H. Perkins, Jr., a world-famous collector of Presidential memorabilia. Perkins subsequently gave the hair to John M. Reznikoff, who owns a large collection of hair from the heads of famous people including JFK, Marilyn Monroe and Elvis. The Reagan strands come with a letter of authenticity from Reznikoff and other supporting documentation tracing its path, including a photocopy of Reagan with Pitts on which the hair is mounted.
