During Grace Kelly's fairy tale reign as Princess Grace of Monaco, she was one of the world's most admired women until a tragic automobile crash on September 14, 1982. This letter dated January 8, 1968 was handwritten by Grace on official stationery featuring a red crown and the words "Palais de Monaco" at the top. The letter to a friend in California depicts the Princess as a typical mother, relating at one point how one of a group of injured Vietnam veterans invited to the palace had caught her daughter Stephanie's eye. The letter is written in black fountain pen and is signed, "Love, Grace." The letter is in very good to excellent condition and comes with a photo of the Royal Family and the group of veterans.
