This linen-backed one sheet poster for the 1933 movie "Police Call" is a treat for serious movie students, as it recalls the time when talking pictures were new and numerous independent studios rolled out B movies. The studio that produced this film, "Showmen's Pictures Inc." is written across the top of the 28" x 41" vivid color poster that features a heated prizefighting scene next to the red-lettered names of the flick's "stars" Merna Kennedy and Nick Stuart and above the rest of the credits. The poster is in good to very good condition with a touch of discoloration around the edges.
