This Nebraska Cornhusker sideline coat is a symbol of winning football, the kind that produced two ‘Husker national championships in the 1970s and three in the 1990s. The long-length, blazing red coat was worn in the 1970s. The snap-front, hooded coat has a "MacGregor Sand-Knit" label in the neck against a gray interior lining and "Nebraska" is written across the back in capital letters cut from white adhesive tape, some of the edges of which are partly off the surface. The jacket shows considerable wear and there are no alterations of any kind.
