The Michigan State Marching Band is a tradition-packed institution like the spartan football team. MSU was an agricultural college, later winning national fame for its precise marching formations and endless renditions of the school's fight song. This gorgeous two-piece, dark forest green band uniform reflects MSU's intertwined tradition of football and fight songs, the kind of uniforms used in 1974 when vinyl white overlays on the front were replaced by sleek white stripes with silver accents running down the front and on the sides of the pants. The zipper-front has a white and silver "S" logo on the left breast, a green and silver "MSU" shield logo across the back, and a white and silver patch with the green Spartan warrior head and school name on each sleeve. There are two "Ostwald" labels in the jacket. Both pieces show wear and there is some staining on the pants but the green color is so imposing it will send shivers up any Spartan fan's back.
