On New Year's Day 1976, the Arkansas Razorbacks made mincemeat of the Georgia Bulldogs 31-10 before a record Cotton Bowl crowd of over 75,000 to bring the school the SWC title and one of its most thrilling gridiron moments. One of the mainstays of coach Frank Broyles' team was running back Ike Forte, who played in the NFL with the Patriots and Redskins. The ring has a ruby-like red stone, surrounded by "Southwest Conference Champions" in gold. The left shank has Forte's name with a razorback logo and "Champions 1975" in gold. This size 11 1/2 right shank has the score of the game over an image of the Cotton Bowl and the date below. The ring is in excellent condition.
