From 1967 to 1981, the Oakland Raiders stamped pro football silver and black (and blue), riding long bombs and gut-crunching defense to pro football's winningest record, in the process racking up eight first-place finishes, three AFL or AFC titles and Super Bowl victories in 1977 and 1982 (a third came in 1984 as the Los Angeles Raiders). Little wonder that owner Al Davis' credo is "Just win, baby." For all those 15 seasons this stark white and black 3' x 9-1/2' acrylic banner reading "GO RAIDERS" hung from the stands at Alameda County Stadium, reflecting the turbo-charged mood of the fanatic Raider crowds. The banner is in excellent condition with a few green scuff marks.
