Before Super Bowl III, Joe Namath was a star. After that game, he was a legend. Even after his 13-year Hall of Fame career ended in 1978, Broadway Joe had superstar quality, as shown by this large-sized 1980 ad for Inside Sports magazine that carried an article on Namath. Joe Willie's mug is splashed on a 29" x 39" black and white cardboard billboard with the line, "This Month Inside Sports Opens Up On Broadway," and a text block that begins, "His shoes were white. His women were blonde. And his Johnnie Walker was Red." The piece is in excellent condition with only traces of damage. The autograph rates an 8.
