Favre was the MVP of the All-American Bowl at the end of his senior year at Southern Miss. He was selected by the Atlanta Falcons in the second round of the 1991 NFL draft. In throwing for 39 touchdown passes, Favre set NFC and Green Bay records for the most touchdown pass season for the second straight year. It ranks as the third highest single season total in NFL history. 1992 was his first year with the Packer's. In the neck of the jersey is the size tag, "44" and at the base of the "V" neck is the "NFL" patch. On the left front tail is the "Starter" exclusive label. On the back of the jersey is a green nameplate with the name "Favre." The player number "4" appears on the front, back and on each sleeve of the jersey. All the letters and numbers are white and have been ironed-on. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
