One of the best all-around players ever to play football and one of the greatest quarterbacks to play in the National Football League, Hadl was a three-time All-Big Eight selection, named NFL Man of the Year in 1971 and MVP in 1973. In the neck of the jersey is the is "REG" label and next to this is the size tag, "46." On the left front tail is the "Sand-Knit" exclusive label and below is the "Sand-Knit" label. Next to this is the size tag, "46." On the back of the jersey is a green mesh nameplate with "Hadl." The player number "12" appears on the front, back and on each sleeve of the jersey. The letters and numbers are white and have been ironed-on. There are several repair marks on the shirt. The jersey shows game-use and with the exception of the repair marks, appears to have no other alterations of any kind.
