The 1988 NFL season saw the Seattle Seahawks win their first AFC Western Division title. The talented backfield combination of Curt Warner and John L. Williams ignited the Seahawks "Ground Chuck" offense. This Seattle Seahawks white mesh jersey was worn by John L. Williams during the 1988 season. On the left front tail is the year tag "88" in computer print and next to this is the "Sand-Knit" label with the size, "44." Above this is the Seattle Seahawks exclusive label. On the back of the jersey is a white mesh nameplate with the name "Williams." The player number "32" appears on the front, back and on each shoulder of the jersey. The letters and numbers are blue and have been ironed-on. There are several repair marks on the shirt. The jersey shows game-use and with the exception of the repair marks, appears to have no other alterations of any kind.
