When Tim Couch ducked under center and took his first snap as a pro QB on September 19, 1999, it was a Browns fan's dream. The fledgling team chose the Kentucky All-American with the first pick in the draft. Couch closed the book on the season after completing 223 of 399 attempts for 2,447 yards and 15 TDs. In the neck of the jersey is a white label reading "99-50" denoting the year and size. At the base of the "V" neck is the "NFL" patch. On the back of the jersey is a white nameplate with the name "Couch." The player number "2" appears on the front, back and on each shoulder of the jersey. The letters and numbers are made of brown tackle twill. On the upper left front is the "1999" inaugural year patch. The jersey shows game-use and with the exception of the custom-cut sleeves and bottom, appears to have no other alterations.
