Edwards, a former NFL defensive back who spent most of his career with the Eagles, is starting the 2001 season as head coach of the New York Jets. He remembers how the "Miracle of the Meadowlands" sparked a string of success for the Eagles. A key figure in one of the most famous plays in NFL history, he will now try to work similar magic with the Jets. On the left front tail of the jersey is the "Russell Athletic" label and size "48." On the back of the jersey is a white mesh nameplate with the name "Edwards" in green ironed-on letters. The player number "46" appears on the front, back and on each shoulder of the jersey. The numbers on the front and back are made of green on silver tackle twill. The numbers on the shoulders are green on silver and have been ironed-on. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. The helmet was manufactured by "Riddell." Inside the helmet is a label stating that it was recertified in 1979.
