Troy Aikman returned "America's Team" back to prominence in the 1990s, leading the Cowboys three Super Bowl Championships. Aikman threw 165 touchdown passes during his 12 year career with Dallas. Due to recurring concussions suffered on the field, the future Hall-of-Famer tearfully announced his retirement in 2001. This is Aikman's game-used helmet, overall silver in color with a blue stripe running along each side of the white stripe down the center. On the front is the Riddell logo; the Cowboys "Star" is on both sides; the NFL logo is on the back along with "Cowboys" in block letters and an "Aikman" ID sticker. There are scuff marks throughout the helmet, indicating plenty of game-use.
