Any offensive player during the 1980s and early 1990s would have prayed to see this particular sideline jacket wrapped around its owner, given that the alternative was having Lawrence Taylor on the field headed for them like a SCUD missile. With a never-before-seen blend of physical ability, quickness and thirst for brutality, LT could control games almost at will from his outside linebacker position. a 1999 Hall of Famer, Taylor was the only defensive player ever to win consensus Player of the Year honors (1986) and led the New York Giants to two Super Bowl victories, racking up 132 very painful sacks along the way. The controversial Taylor wore this royal blue sideline jacket in the mid-1980s. He signed the jacket with his name and " #56" on the left breast above the No. "56" affixed to the jacket in vinyl. The signature in black marker rates an 8. The zippered jacket has "Giants" across the back in white and inside the neck is a "Champion" label and size "XXL."
