An unheralded 1990 third-round draft pick, O'Donnell had by 1993 established himself as the starting Steelers QB and passed for over 3,000 yards, third-most in club history. He would lead the team to Super Bowl XXX two years later and earn himself a free agent contract with the Jets. O'Donnell wore this Steelers helmet during the mid-1990s. He signed on the right side of the black and gold helmet above the Steelers logo, "Neil O'Donnell, #14," in gold marker, with the signature rating a near-10. The "Riddell" label is on the front of the well-worn helmet and the "NFL" sticker on the back. The number "14" also appears on the front and back.
