This future Hall of Famer set NFL career records in passing completions, passing yardage, touchdown passes and passing attempts. Early in the 1983 season, Marino became the starting quarterback for the Dolphins, a surprising accomplishment for a rookie and was also named the NFL's Rookie of the Year. In subsequent years Marino became famous for his throwing power and accuracy, helping to quarterback the Dolphins to numerous playoff appearances. On the left front tail of the jersey is the "Russell Athletic" label with the size, "XL." On the back of the shirt is a white mesh nameplate with the name "Marino" in teal tackle twill letters. The player number "13" appears on the front, back and on each sleeve of the jersey. The numbers are teal on orange. The letters and numbers have been ironed-on. On the back number "1" is an autograph rating a 9. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
