Journeyman Wally Millies pieced together the best of his six seasons in the major leagues in 1936, when he hit .312 in 74 games with the Washington Senators. Millies wore this Brooklyn Dodgers home flannel pinstripe jersey in 1936 spring training. In the neck of the jersey is the "Spalding" label and next to this is "W Millies 11" in red chain stitch. The number denotes the player number. Across the front of the jersey is the name "Brooklyn" in blue on red felt and on the back is the player number "11" in blue felt. On the back tail is the year "36" in red chain stitch. Millies only played for the Dodgers in 1934, so this appears to be his 1936 spring training jersey. The jersey shows game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
