"Rock" Raines, with his infectious laugh and exciting aggressiveness, became a fan favorite wherever he went. Over the 1980s, Raines was inextricably linked to Rickey Henderson because of their similar ages and the havoc they wreaked on the basepaths. On the right front tail is a blue label reading "42 85" in white embroidered stitch. The numbers denote the size and year, respectively. Adjacent is the flag tag reading "Set 1 1985." On the left breast is the Expos logo in red/white/blue tackle twill. Below this is the name "Expos" and on the back is the name "Raines." The player number "30" appears on both the right breast and on the back of the shirt. The letters and numbers are made of red tackle twill. Included with the uniform are home pants from the 1980 season and a batting helmet. Helmet shows game wear with a missing piece out of the side. Inside the waistband is the player number "30" which has been written in black marker. Next to this is the "Rawlings" label with the size "32." Next to this label is a white label reading "32 23 80" in blue embroidered stitch. Adjacent to this is the flag tag reading "Set 1 1980." The jersey, pants and helmet show game-use and appear to have no alterations of any kind.
