Warren Spahn is the winning-est left-handed pitcher in major league history with 363 wins. Thirteen times he won over 20 games including six years in a row from 1956-61. He led the league in wins eight times and complete games nine. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1973. This black with red trim Boston Braves tomahawk jacket was worn by Spahn during the late 1940s. In the collar of the jacket is the "Wilson" tag with the size "46" adjacent to this. Across the front of the jacket in mostly red and black felt is the team name "Braves" and directly underneath is the Indian tomahawk. Sewn into the inside lower left of the jacket is a felt patch with the player number "21" in tan stitch. This beautiful conditioned jacket has a suede lining, a workable zipper and an elastic waistband.
