Signed out of Southern University for a $30,000 bonus in 1961, Brock moved up to the Cubs within one season. In 1965, when he was with the Cardinals, he scored 107 runs and stole 63 bases. In 1966, he won his first of four straight and eight total stolen-base championships with 74. Brock had high averages and electrifying feats on the bases. On the inside front tail of the jersey is the "Rawlings" label which includes the size, "40" and adjacent is the flag tag reading "Set 1 1979." Across the front of the jersey is the name "Cardinals" in script-style letters made of red on blue embroidered stitch. Going through the letter "C" is a gold embroidered bat with a red embroidered Cardinal perched on each end. On the back of the shirt is the name "Brock" in red on blue tackle twill. The player number "20" appears on both the left breast and on the back of the jersey. The numbers are made of red on blue tackle twill. The jersey shows light game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
