The former University of Indiana football star, Ted Kluszewski was a four-time All-Star from 1953-56 leading the league in both HRs (49) and RBIs (141) in 1954. A career .298 hitter, "Big Klu" hit 3 HRs and drove in 10 runs for the 1959 World Champions Chicago White Sox. This Pittsburgh Pirates home flannel vest was worn by Kluszewski during his 60 games with the Pirates during the 1959 season. The numbers denote player number and year, respectfully. On the inside left front tail is the wash tag and adjacent is the flag tag reading "Set 1 1959".
