Affectionately known to the Boston faithful as Dewey, Dwight Evans made his reputation as a strong-armed outfielder who froze baserunners in their tracks and later blossomed into one of the AL's better hitters. In the neck of the jersey is the "Wilson" label and size "44." On the left front tail is the year tag "79" in black chain stitch. Across the front of the jersey is the name "Red Sox" and on the back is the player number "24." Both the name and number are made of red on blue tackle twill. There is an autograph on the left front which grades an 8. The jersey shows good game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
