With five American League batting titles and a .346 career average to his credit, the Boston Red Sox third baseman, Wade Boggs, has established himself as one of the greatest hitters ever to play the game of baseball. On the left front tail of the jersey is the "Rawlings" label with the size "44" and adjacent is the flag tag reading "Set 1 1988." Across the front of the jersey is the name "Boston" and on the back is the player number "26." Both the name and number are made of blue tackle twill. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
