Don Zimmer began his life in baseball at the age of 23, when he was brought up by the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1954. Just one year later, he would join the team as they traveled to the World Series to face off against their cross rivals the Yankees. Zimmer did well in the series, driving in two runs to help his team to victory. The Hillerich & Bradsby bat was made for his use in the series. The 36 inch, 36.2 ounce, R43 model bat shows light but definite game use. A fabulous relic from one of the games most historic teams.
