The 1958 Rookie of the Year and 1967 National League MVP had a tremendous 17 year major league career. Elected to the Hall of Fame in 1999, Cepeda compiled an impressive record : 379 home runs, 1,365 RBIs and a .297 lifetime batting average. This Adirondack, model 153X, measures 36.25 inches and weighs 36.5 ounces and shows evidence of good game use with a handle crack. The handle has been taped for grip. "Cha cha’s" #28 is on the knob in black marker and his autograph, which rates an 8, includes the notation " Baby Bull and MVP 67".
