Playing his entire 20 year career with the Milwaukee Brewers, Robin Yount established himself as one of the greats of our time. In 1982 he led his team to their only World Series victory, hitting .414 in the postseason. A three-time All Star, he earned two MVP awards, one Gold Glove, and was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1999. This Hillerich and Bradsby bat shows the 1977-79 labeling period. It is a 34.5 inch, 33.5 ounce, P72 model cupped end bat. It shows evidence of exceptional game use with a moderate amount of pine tar on the handle. His number "19" appears on the knob in black marker. The bat is accompanied by a letter from the Brewers bat boy to whom Yount gave the bat.
