Although the "larger than life" Babe could command any crowd he wanted, none was more important to him than attending to a group of kids. In this photograph, a cluster of adoring young fans surround "the legend" as Ruth patiently signs. The photograph is signed and inscribed in blue fountain pen, "To My Pal Buddy - From Babe Ruth." The signature rates a strong 8 to 9 and the inscription slightly faded but legible. The 8" x 10" photograph has been double-matted and framed to an overall 13" x 15." There are a few creases that do not interfere with the image.
