With Maris' home run record having been shattered several times, Joe DiMaggio's remarkable 56-game hitting streak still stands seemingly untouchable. "The Yankee Clipper" is shown in this early b&w print "spiffed-up" in suit and tie, about to kiss his treasured bat. On the bottom of the print reads "Joe DiMaggio Salutes His Bat." Across the center is a uncharacteristically large autograph in blue marker rating a strong 8. The print is matted and framed 19" x 22" and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
